Website Vocabulary (Delete Me)

Postby Super Nova on Tue Sep 14, 2010 11:38 pm

Concise description:
  • Have people's user names added to the website vocabulary.

Specifics/Details:
  • I'm directing a tournament, and with all the usernames that aren't real words, it gets kind of annoying to have those red squiggle lines all over the place. Why not just have it so that usernames are recognized as actual words?

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • This suggestion is just to make typing on CC a little more convenient, and if it requires to much programing it won't matter a whole lot. If it is implemented though, I doubt I'll be the only person grateful.

You can do this yourself by right-clicking on the name and adding to dictionary. It's a browser thing, not a website thing.

I don't use this at all. Then again, I don't use a spellchecker at all, because I am smrt.

Incandenza is correct. The website has no control over how your browser decides whether you've spelled something incorrectly.

Sweet, although this ended up more of a Q&A topic. Moving to the archives. :)
