In Game 7516613, I have a good chance of winning, but can I win by simply controlling the shields for one turn, or do i have to wipe out the other players?

Huh? The game he linked to is played on the unification italy map. As it says in the center of that map:

Game objective: Control all shields and unite the kingdom of Italy to achieve victory.

This makes me believe that you can win by holding all shields at the start of your turn.

Where are you getting your info, eddie, Sebstar?
