Would it be against the rules for me to write a program to play the game for me?

I wouldn't want to use it on my own account, ideally I would deploy a separate account for it and only play games with the program on it. Mainly for pedagogical purposes.

So then you would be breaking two rules.

First of all, where's the rule that says I can't use a program to figure out the best moves?

Second, I don't see what the problem would be, with me paying for a second account and never playing myself on it, and only using it for pedagogical purposes.

CC Rules wrote:Rule #1: No multiple accounts

Multiple accounts are discovered by routine scans and community cheating reports. They are strictly forbidden whether or not they play in the same games or are even in use. If you suspect certain accounts belong to the same person, please report it following the instructions at the top of the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum.

I understand the rule, I'm not new to the site. My point is that first of all, I can't imagine that premium multis are typically a problem, and second, that I would not use this to play any games "myself;" only the program would make game decisions. It's not like I'm asking for a second account so I can play more games (and why would I do that if I have a premium account?), but strictly for pedagogical purposes, in case people are interested in trying their luck against a computer program. I would even consider "donating" the bot to the site, to be watched over and controlled by a moderator, so that there's no possible chance of me cheating (although I am, simply put, an honest person, and would not try to abuse the bot in any way). I just think it would be an interesting thing, to see whether the best players can beat an AI algorithm.

I mean, I could also use it for my own account, but then the points I won wouldn't be nearly as fun :P

Thanks for the tip. Didn't realize the eTickets could be used that way.

multi purpose things, those e tickets.
Also, since most tickets are handled confidentially, please let us know what the outcome is.
