First game on Feudal Epic

With all the other maps I have played on thus far, they have been fairly similar to the original board-game RISK. The greatest challenge thus far was the Arms Race map, but my brother was around, and I simply had him explain it to me (he's a long-time CC player).

Unfortunately for me, he left for college this Friday and I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I joined that game. Does anyone have any tips or a link to a strategy guide for it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

take all of your castle territories except for 7 (the one with 10 neutrals) and one non adjacent to your castle. keep dropping on your castle and bombard the one non adjacent territory until you have a big enough stack to go cause some damage. you have to move slowly and methodically around the map. bombarding for cards is the key, unless you are playing a no spoil game then that's different.

Are there any alternatives if you hold the Realm of Might, which only has neutral 10s as non-adjacent territories?

you're talking about feudal war, that is the one exception in which you take one territory at a time until you can break the 10's. This works much better in a team game. In multiplayer games you may want to consider grabbing a village fir extra troops. But be aware it will stretch you thin.

Thanks for the advice! That is certainly a strategy that I would not have attempted initially. We'll see how this goes... :)

Also, is there any place I can see how many neutral troops there are on territories? (The game I am playing has Fog of War enabled, and it would be useful to know where is a 10 and where is a 2)

In feudal epic the castle7 is always a 10, the villages are 5's the bridges connecting village areas are 2 or 3 depends on the border all castle lands 1-6 are 2's and all village territories are 1's
