Do you get more points if you take the whole map?

My question is: Do I earn more points if I take out the neutral territories before making the final kill on an opponent? So, then I would have the whole map before the final kill?

Points are only awarded for opponent elimination/game winning, and points #'s are only affected by your score, your opponent's score, and some math. Say you are playing a small map where you and your opponent only start with 6 regions. If you eliminate those 6, you get the same number of points from your opponent, as if you eliminated all the neutral regions and then those 6 opponent regions.

Good answer, wish more newbies knew this, i hate that when they clear the hole map just to kill 1 man left, thinking that they're going to get more points if they do. All it does is prolong the torture.

Maybe they don't do for points. It's better to see the map fullfiled with your troops than mixed with neutrals....and this game is about World(or whatever) Domination. You can't say is complete domination if neutral troops are there can you?

the first one maybe, the second one unlikely. either way, expanding why you are saying something like happend to me so there is actually a learning experience instead of a half comment that can be taken as misleading. well expanding is a good thing.

Still, i will edit my previous post and learn..
