well i dont play these option,and just now realised that these deployment dont have any influence on map like,peloponnesian war, Feudal Epic,and in other Starting possition maps,where in fact its same like automatic deployment, and these mean that its much best option for manual deployment medal.

it depends on how many players are in the game. In smaller games (4 players or less), you may start with 2 positions, so you can deploy all your troops on one of the 2 positions. The map that it matters the least is City Mogul, you just get 1 troop to deploy no matter what.

I haven't looked at that suggestion n a while, but last time I did I think they were saying that people would get to keep their medals and unique defeats, just that you couldn't make new games with those settings
