I haven't seen a best map thread for a while, so thought i might as well make one, my current favourite is Australia. The high-tech look really appeals to me.

...and the fact that you live in Australia has nothing to do with it? :P

going by looks alone, the phillipenes map is my favorite and the CCU map is the worst looking.

Although the King of the hill map in the foundary is looking great so far

I say no way to NA, though it does look good. I don't particularly like the thick lines or the mountains on it.

My favorites: Australia and Middle Earth

CCU? Really?

What about Middle East, Indochina, Montreal, Ancient Greece, Cross Word, Brazil?

I'd put all of those behind CCU for sure! Oh well :?

YOur kidding right.

CCU rocks, and King of the Hill map in the foundary, sucks really bad, espically in it's look, and can rival Crossword for suckyness.

Ancient Greece and Indochina look alright, and Middle East would look okay if it wasn't for the bumpyness here and there.

I like Europe because I like the rich vibrant colors. I like U.S.A. because some thought went into the color scheme. Space looks good too.

P.I. looks good, but I can't stand lists beginning with numbers that are centered rather than left justified.

Worst: Montreal and Ireland. The Ireland map looks like someone poured bleach on it. Montreal hurts my eyes.

One problem I do have is maps with blue countries sometimes make the quantities hard to see for blue players.

I like Ireland- Very different, old world feel.

But its a good thing there are so many different maps! Obviously everyone has different tastes. :)

the problem is that you guys that "love" other countries than amerika it takes even longer to play a damn game.

right now im on 20 games, and I still have to wait about 40 minutes for some "yanker" to play.

good luck, down below.

PS how are those anti-gun and anti-knife laws effecting the crime in your area? LOL

Governments are always trying to control the "slaves" and yes amerika is gonna do more "make" 911 attacks to take our rights away.

And lazy couch sitters just sit......so sad

911 was an inside job http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 1483512003

I enjoy this site, to relax, otherwise I try to spread the truth about our governments destroying FREEDOM for all around the world.

God help us.

I agree completely, Ireland, while I haven't had much success with it, is definitely the most attractive map out there!

Ireland is the best, in my opinion, alongside Middle Earth, and there are a fair few bad-uns - Middle east, obviously, as well as Brazil, Tamriel, Hong Kong, Alexander's Empire and Montreal. Or perhaps they're just where I've lost the most games... :)

Best looking to me is USApoc, but I love Europe too.

Indochina?? Haha, thats one of the worst. Does someone remember the first playable version, then? CC to players with EGA monitor. :)

But Crossword looks terrible too.

Beyond that, Middle East, then Brazil, but Im going to improve it :)

visually world 2.0 isn't that bad, its a little rough but there's not much else that could have been done to that, and their are some that look worse
