I asked this awhile ago and never got an answer. Is it possible to build a script or maybe a new site option that will allow me to BLOCK certain maps? I hate (using the word hate here...) the Hive and I fear it will come up on random someday.

The Hive is foed permanently...and not the good kind of FOED! either.

lol i like the hive it takes alot of patience and skill. not like some of these maps that are said to be advanced boards. i think the hive is for the most skilled players of cc. so stop complaining about it and learn a board that takes alot of planning to play

imho though there are much "worse" maps out there, maps I've avoided like the plague so far, noone named, noone forgotten
But yeah, haha, one has to focus on Hive to attack the right tert, not to mention the migrane & epilepsy inducing color scheme gotta love it, haha.

An origional and interesting concept, gotta give the map maker that.

Hive slows down tourneys with random maps. Not fun to make everyone else wait...

Sorry for offending you, but it's true (at least for me and my friends). However, the other three are in there for an entirely different reason than Hive. Hive is there because it is so huge, sometimes a bit laggy, and can last 30+ rounds in a short team game. The others are there because, if you've got a Brig and 3 Colonels on your quads team, you sure as hell don't want to be playing quads on a map like Doodle. To be honest, the same goes for 1v1s... way too much luck on those 3 maps. Hell, it's sometimes a challenge to even beat cooks!

Now, if you're playing just for fun, then you're right... Hive is in a class by itself. I can see how, if you want a nice, quick, fun little game, the other three would be okay, while Hive would be a monster.

Very true. I'm not saying it should be changed; I'm just saying it sucks for me when one of these four comes up. I still love random
