I just lost 60 points from this game:

heck Ive lost over 50 pts in a triples game before.

that 500 point game was when stdb04 was down with under 200 points and he won a 6 person game. it was a long time ago.

I highly doubt IT3USN was ever down to under 200 points. He is a good player.

haha!! that's amazing!!! I didn't even know there was a limit on the amount of points you could win from a single player!! The guy that won the first Battle Royale won like 664 or something... imagine if stdb04 won... that would be... (checking...) would have been 4,100 POINTS!!!

That's why the limit was set.

Imagine if a player kept losing on purpose to get down to the potential 10 points or so.

By defeating 5 players at 2000 points each (there is plenty of them now) the person would gain 20,000 points and each previous colonel would have negative 2000 points.

Of course it brings up many questions (would negative points be possible, for example) but the point cap solved the problem overall. It was a shame that the best way to get to the top was to go as close to the bottom as possible first.

was getting to the bottom and springing up ever a valid strategy? seems like it woudl get you a decent score, but then you'd be on your own. In that same amount of time you could have worked your way past there anyway

hey, talking about the most points from a single game, that battle royale could have given maximum like 11,200 points

Seems like a very valid strategy. Good luck getting over 10,000 on pure skill alone, lol. Wish I could have thought of that before the change was made.

By the way, are there any games that occurred before the rule change in which someone won over 100 points?
