Who are the guys that dont have the rank, that show up in your games and you are like "Need to watch that mofo"

Ive got two...

They actually could be generals if they didnt play almost any map or any setting and I love them more for it.

Mageplunka - This guy you would think is shit. And for a long time I did. I would draw even with him in contests won or lost. But then I realized he was on every map and ALWAYS had a goood showing. Then 3 months ago I invited him to a few team games. This GUY CAN PLAY. I dont know why is rank stays there,,, I know he has an unbelievaqble rank on doodle and if he only played doodle tthen statistically he would be conqueror BY FAR.

CrashAWC- Lets just say you never want to meet this guy on a feudal or a map that is base fed like Jamaica et al.... I dont know how he does it.. but he is one of my oldest acquaintances in CC and he ALWAYS knows when to attack in the blind. He is like #1 or #2 in both the feudals... top notch. I actually am worryed for the ol boy atm.. he has missed a few turns and it seems like someone is playing his turns last 5 days... Hope he is alright.


Anyway.... Id stick these two against anyone any setting, and Id wager on them.... both damn good players.

Your argument lacks substance. The fact that he is highly rated on doodle all that means is he loses points on other maps. A while back if you remember i said i could be positive 1000 points on any map given a few months because all i would have to do is drive my rank down by playing other maps that i am bad at or that are luck based and then win more/lose less on the map in question and thus become positive points on that map. Also no one could ever become conqueror now from playing only the doodle earth map, too much luck is involved.

IMO this thread is a bit odd, since it can include guys who used to have rank, but don't anymore, because they are going for medals or tournaments or assdoodles or whatever else you noobs do.

However, that being said, I think Mageplunka is an excellent choice, AoN.

There are a bunch of really good Captains, but I think JR24 stands out as a nightmarish Lieutenant.

1) As of now there is no reason to lock this so why would I? In fact i am interested to see other peoples most underrated players.
2) I actually agree with you about magepunka being an underrated player as his rank does not indicate his skill, i just disagree with you when you say his positive points on doodle is why he is so skilled and that if he only played doodle he would be conqueror.
3) If you remember the reason you made that GD topic was because you sent me a pm saying how i could be a great player but wasn't because all i did was play speed freestyle. Then i asked you who the players you respected were and you made that thread as a result.

Im going to throw a friend out.... I know... I hate to throw friends out because that makes me biased... But lunch36... That dude I met like 2 years ago. BAck when I was a private and played EVERYTHING.

He and I won a few open teamed matches, and for some reason I was like "Ill ask him to play other matches (this was before invites) ... He ALWAYS accepted.. I was not ranked for shit but he thought I played solidly... and honestly ... over the last year and a half of playing with him. ... Ive learned the guy doesnt play but like 10 games at a time and im usually his teammate in many of them... he keeps a colonel/major rank despite me.. and Ill be honest here guys... I mean really. In games I was a worthless piece of dunk Ive seen this guy come up with strategy of the ages or dice of the ages and win it. He is SO easy going... he always seems to win.. and dont steal my fucking partner just because I posted this.. but he is special.
