i am not cont complaining, im just sayin........

Do most of us realizes that when some one starts a bunch of games especially doubles and multiple of the same board etc. it is normally done with a partner in mind.

may i suggest to everyone to avoid pissing people off.

please do join until the first team is set.

we all know how the site works and we all know each others playing partners etc and habits. etc.

i feel awful when i set up a bunch of games and others join before my partner, then i have to drop them and i look like a jerk.

i really dont mean to offend any one, its just that there are certain time when you want to play with certain partners. etc.....

so please dont take it personally.

like i said im just sayin.

he, that's a problem indeed.
Unless they make an option so to allow the game creator to leave "one place for their teammate" free until all "insert condition here", there is no real solution but to create the game at a time where both of you are online...
or just hope people will learn.
Because it's not obvious to newcomers indeed.

I think goes back to the idea of wanting to be able to start a Private game, then after getting your partners in the game, being able to change it to a Public game.

I'm only starting in playing team games, and hopefully something can be developed to make sure folks can get their teammates into the game, because I know I'll want the same down the road.

eddymush, I respect that, I too have a partner that I play with regularly, but if you asking everybody NOT TO JOIN a doubles game that mean there will be whole lot of guys just waiting for someone to join because they didn't care who there partner was/is going to be and now nobody is joining there game.
Go with Medefe's suggestion.

Well, I would drop the game when I get a noob partner, but not really if I get a well ranked one...

Anyway, there is something that I think is irritating too; when you create a new set of public doubles with your partner, and get the same opposing team in every games. I think if the games are public, its because we would like some variety of players, not really playing all games against same people. I see no problem about pm to arrange a challenge, or even talk about more once the first one has started... but why join all the 3-5 games someone just created? I think its a bit unpolite. Does someone agree?

(Ps: Im not talking about the lots with 20 games we sometimes see some teams creating, Im talking about small lots of 3-4 games.)

LMAO! You expect the 30,000+ users here to automatically know you and what you like to play with whom? Oh that's classic. Thanks for the laugh.

That reminds me of the player who contacted me about something, and said, "don't you know me, I'm in the top 10?" I'm still laughing about that one.

Anyway, so why don't you do what everyone else does here, and create these games when your partner's online? There's something in the works to make creating team games easier in the future, but until then, come back down to reality.

I agree. but none of that is as bad as joining 3 or 4 games against eye84free and getting shitty dice rolls in all 4 to the point of where you are dead when you were going to take 2 of the 4.

Just have your teammate join it as soon as you make it. This can be done by simply setting up a time, talking via another messaging service, or speaking in person.
