Stalemate with No Spoils

I am playing the AoR3 map with No Spoils Game 6539887. We have come to a stalemate with 4 players left. 3 players have a strong position and almost equal bonus. One player has the most troops. There seems to be no easy way to break it. Whoever attacks first is going to be weak and easy fodder for the remaining player.

I made a tactical move away from Borun because I was in between 2 players with the third player building. It gave me a strong position to defend but now I have no where to go. Everyone is just building now waiting for someone else to make the first move. This game could go on forever.

welcome to the club mate,

same's going on here, Game 5977742 hoping they'll crack soon though, they are at the end of the day just like you freemium and only have 3 other slots open ;)

I've not played AoR, and don't know about this one, but the best way I've found to keep out of stalemate in no spoils is to set on an objective, eg weaken one player, take one small bonus & keep working toward it, however slow progress is. Small movements can progressivly unlock a game, and hopefully the other players will see it and start moving too. If they are just going to sit and you want out, you might have to try something desperate and hope you get a break.

I was bored so I attacked the 2 strongest player. Then retreated to a defendable position. It will probably cost me. At least it will change the game.

I auto-attacked with 94 troops against 74 and lost. So much for law of large numbers.

Statistics.

A high probability is not a guarantee.

I won the game. I didn't expect it. My earlier attack had the effect I wanted which was to open the game up. Then other players started to attack each other which left me with a strong enough position to win. Not sure if this strategy would work a second time though.

You've got to do two things:
1- Attack one territory at a time.
2- Hope for luck of the dice.

I'm too aggressive a player to have no spoils game that last longer than 20 rounds.

Build games are for pussies. ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
