Hi all - I'm new here.
Already, in two or three games, I missed a turn...why?
The first turn I got an email notice and assumed (wrongfully) that notifications would continue...so I didn't come back all weekend. Imagine my shock when I did return to find I had missed turns.
I went back to preferences and see that the notifications are for first turns only, but I wonder how many newbies like me made the wrong assumption...and were waiting on an email notification?

There's a neat little plug-in which you can find from the thread at the top of the general discussion forum or from mozilla.org called CC Tell. As well as giving you in-game statistics, it also puts icons at the bottom of your browser which will turn green when it's your turn in a game.
You need to be using Mozilla's Firefox as your web browser. If you aren't already using it, then pull your finger out & get it installed. Works on PC and Mac.

I'm using a mac (OS X 10.8.9) and Firefox 2.0, and everything works fine... it crashed once, but that's it. In fact, firefox doesn't crash nearly as often as safari.

Fair comment - I think I made that mistake at the beginning, albeit it never cost me any turns. But worth amending the text of the emails so they make it clear that this is the only email they will get (if the wording isn't already clear)
