This has probably been discussed before. I'm new, so if so I apologize in advance, bare with me.
Does anyone else hate Escalating cards?
My first 3 games here, and the last three losses, were because of escalating cards.
In all three situations, someone on the brink of defeat cashes in their cards. Then they mass up and stomp one person, thus gaining their cards and cashing in for even MORE troops. And then its a snowball effect, it just gets bigger and bigger.
The first time it happened I was really impressed and congratulated the guy on a decisive victory.
The second time it happened ditto, but I was scratching my head.
The third time... waitaminute.
One of those victors patted herself on the back and attributed it to strategy, even though she was getting stomped the entire game. And at one point even whined about me stomping her, going on about how she was done and I just ruined her.
Then she cashes in some cards, and she wins in one turn.
I dont know, it just seems a bit cheesey. I mean unless they have some absolutely terrible diceluck, its pretty much a garunteed win once they cash in big.
So far, anyways. I think I'll stick to Flat Rate.
