If a player misses two turns but takes his third, he gets all the extra men he should've got the previous three turns, right? So why in a doubles game does not a partner with a deadbeater not get all those extras when they get all the places transferred? Basically if someone doesn't play in a doubles game, you're sunk (unless you've been really lucky) because despite the fact that you'll get those units/places, you won't be able to properly reinforce them with however few units you get.

if u hav a partner who deadbeats then u r screwed. u don't get any of thier armies at all so its game over.

What are you talking about? You get all their armies!
In a doubles game the deadbeats armies get transferred to the remaining player, in a trips game the armies go to the teammate who joined the game first (I think thats how trips work). The only armies you miss out on are the 3 per turn he forfeited when he didnt take his turn.

That's what the wrong rev meant, why don't you get those extra 3 armies your partner would have got for his missed turns.Rev bring this up in the suggestions and bug report section.I for one agree that you should be able to get your ahnds on those armies.

imagine the following scenario:
you have 5 countries your partner also has 5 countries.
your partner deadbeats from the start
you suddenly have 10 countries + all the armies on them

now you also want to get an additional 9 armies for a total of 12? This is assuming that your partner wasn't lucky and got a small continent right from the start but didn't play because he was a noob.

You only need to survive for 3 turns and you can be the single strongest player in the game. What more could you ask for?

The Wrong Rev. HAS a point in this. I support the idea.

you have 5 countries your partner also has 5 countries.
your partner misses a turn --> you get 6 armies (instead of 3) next turn to keep YOUR TEAM in the game.
- Please notice the other teams ALSO get 6 armies per turn plus they BOTH have a chance to get cards.
when your partner deadbeats, you suddenly have 10 countries + all the armies on them and his 3 armies from his missed turn. It's NOT more than other teams have/get but this keeps you in the game.

After that you are on your own, one player in a team against two players in other teams, with possibility to get only one card per round etc

Point taken. Particularly if between the two of you you have a valuable continent which would give you continuous strong turns.
