I was just wondering what the longest "real" escalating game was, and on what map.

Currently I have an escalating game about to end on round 14 on the Classic Map.

I understand that the bigger the map the longer a game could last, so world 2.0 can probably go 30 rounds, while ireland is done in 12.

Just wondering if anybody had legit escalating games, probably with 3 ppl left, that were so balanced, the armies stacked and it took many rounds.

i think i managed to cash in a set worth 200 on us apocalypse once playing against some other very good players. i remember deguu was there anyway.

103270 was an 18 round classic. thats as long as i hav played esc.

ive been in a few escalating games with good players that went well up towards 30 rounds. one recently saw the first person turn in cards on round 16. it was a very crowded game.

My longest game was 334 rounds, Game 205842. The last set was worth 1390. The game ended when steve deadbeated. Long, but still a decent game with some action here and there.

I currently have one on World that has no end in sight (718066, round 131). Absolutely terrible game. Completely boring and a perfect example of why I would use a "truce" button. I have had other long games on this map, and I'll never play this map again (except maybe 1v1).

Once the numbers get high, there is no advantage to attack anyone.

I was in game 211103... stalemated game on 2.1 that I eventually deadbeated out of. Dunno what the highest cash-in was, but rest assured that everyone left in the game had tens of thousands of armies... took forever to load on my crappy computer. Hopefully I'll never be in a game like that again.
