if you are at the end of a game, do you get more points for conquering the whole map? i.e all the neutrals AND your opponents?

or do you get the maximum points for taking out just the opponent?

cheers

Conquer Club players are initially given a score of 1000. At the end of each game, the winner takes points away from each loser. The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent.

From the FAQ sections

more importantly, does conqeuring ALL the neutrals i.e. the whole map get youmore points than just defeating all the opponents?

Look at your profile to see your score. Yours is currently 931. My score is 2259.

If I would beat you I would gain 931/2259*20 points which is equal to 8. Consequently you would lose 8 points.

If you would beat me, the winners and losers scores would be reversed. So I would lose 2259/931*20, or 49 points. And you would win 49 points.

The neutral territories have nothing to do with the points you gain or lose. If you win, that formula applies to every opponent that you beat. Get it?

I thought they did too until this moment.

I think the problem is the word "score". blump seemed to think the person's score was their score for that particular game. And if you are thinking that then the description of how the points are calculated would make no sense.

I don't know how to fix the description and keep it simple though, because the rules already make the distinction between the score you start out with and and the points you gain or lose.
