just curious if anyone else noticed a clock hiccup when the server went down - I was in a game with 1 othr player left, before site went down it was his turn, site came back up, it was my turn with 1 hour left in my turn and he had "missed a turn" - no way did 47 hours go by with neither of us playing.
not a big deal because he has kicked my ass anyhoo, but wierd none the less.
Just curious if it is my head or if anyone else noticed.

it happened to me too. I started my turn and just before i deployed my armies the site crashed. When it came back up my turn was skipped b/c of the 1 hour timelimit. bummer.

Sorry about that. The server is near its limits and it's time for another upgrade. This time it will be quick and easy, I can probably get it done today.
Now that we have 1 hour turn limits, I have to be more careful to avoid downtime

Happened in one of my games, too. I was getting hammered in that game anyways, so it made little differance.

Lack, a prisoner of your own success it seems.
The problem wasnt in 1 hour turn games but in a 24 hour game, that's what was strange.
Thanks for the upgrade.
You better find a kick-ass job/bank account out of this site

2006-04-11 21:19:40 - Twill gets a card
2006-04-12 21:19:40 - Naturallygood missed a turn
2006-04-12 21:19:40 - Incrementing game to round 24
Looks normal to me. Naturallygood's turn began when you ended yours and he/she hadn't played for 24 hrs.

right, that's what I thought, but I'm wondering if there was an internal clock hiccup because I know it hasnt been 24 hours since the last move - but then, I also know I should have won the lottery last week so maybe I'm just a little crazy....
1 hour

twill you still have 24 hours to start your turn once you have started though you have 1 hour to complete your turn then the next guy has 24 hours to start it was done to stop the holding problem
