What's all this talk about "dicksizing" and "e-penises" ?

I will stop mincing words with you Natty.

It's a game. understand ?

like all games, there are winners and loosers. comprendo ?

The winners are often recognized by the presentations of trophies and such. still with me ?

Natty, I am not of the belief that just because you compete, that you deserve a trophy. Some are teaching this to children today. Has this been taught to you ? This idea is flat out wrong. Just for the sake of making everyone "feel" like winners, it robs the true winners. You may think that this is all a bunch of neanderthal dick-waving, but without this attitude we would loose that will to win. We become limp in our efforts, and do the very minimum to get by. This attitude is what brought down Communism, to the place it is today. This attitude will also bring down the USA if it is not halted. We will loose the innovation trophy, and turn it over to China soon, if we keep on this path.

-end rant.

We are really getting side-tracked here, but the whole winner-gets-all attitude is what has shitcanned your country in the first place. Think multi-national corporations...

Besides, archers loose arrows. Games have losers. ;)

Are you two secret lovers?

Good fun to read.
Yes I believe you are getting sidetracked.

P n B - did you ever try team games? You can combine 1v1 (for fairness) with multi player.
The drop, 1st turn and top 1st turn dice aren't quite as critical......still handy of course.

Just played my last 1 v1 unless it will be a clan necessity or in a tourney. Lost over 60 points in my last 2 games to unbelieveable drops and then going 2nd. No wonder the top players only play amongst themselves as this point system is broken and doesn't show the true nature of one's talent.

Your last statement was true, but that does NOT have anything to do with 1v1.

I play team games all of the time. I also play multi-player games as well. I play more multi-player games than natty. It is just that I play 5 times the number of games as he. Even though I may only play 10-20% multi-player, that number of games is higher than his total games played.

I am not advocating that multi-player games should not be played. I am advocating that 1v1's should take up a larger percentage of your games. This way you can reduce the amount of lost points to cheaters. How much you decide is up to you.

I play more multi-player games than natty.

No you don't. You can't have more than 4 games at a time. I have 30 multiplayer games all the time... ;)

I'm sure some of you will welcome this development, and it matters little to me quite honestly.

I am so sick of playing the smaller maps and either getting bonus drops or my opponent getting them AND the ridiculous discrepancy in the dice.

There ARE some very good suggestions that have gone ignored (what else is new here). These suggestions would make it worthwhile being here and spending time here . As it stands right now .... the games are complete bullshit 90% of the time.

Funny how the voices of discontent are getting louder, with some real old timers beginning to wonder too.......

I haven't read all of this..but try 2v2 then. I really enjoy those.

Yes, you can play any team game with only two teams and not have to worry about getting cheated. So long as you are sure, that you do not have a spy on your team. ;)
