I would nominate DM if he didn't already have it.

So my vote is for mhenningan.

Lol, nominating yourself, eh? ;) I thought you were premium, so I nominate you as well. :) You have a great running tourny at the moment, around CC, and I'm in it. It's alot of fun, I actually enjoy some of the newer maps. 8)

I think a lot of poeple think i am premuim. Maybe cuase i run alot of tournaments and I save most of my game slots for tournaments.

Yeah DiM deserves it the most, but he already has it... so Mhennigan no doubt.

If he wasn't premuim and asking the question, my vote would be for him. :D

mhenigan or whoever is known for being the highest ranking non-premium player, to take that away would mean he's just a first page guy.... So to take away his special top freemium player would be an outrage!!! give it to me  I have prem. that's right..... :(

i gave up reading entire threads that have actual content, because the threat that they will be merged and moved in the dark of the night, is far too great to risk taking the time to finish them... ahem... i saw the fixed optimus post, which was corrected after DiM's post, which made my post, meaningless (but what is new about that?). sooo, i'm rolling with whoever you all said.. m-what's his name-igan or whatever...-0

1. i'm not even close to being a skilled player. i suck at freestyle and team games
2. i haven't contributed that much to the community and at least some of my contributions have been carried in rather strange ways (remember the terminator experiment)
3. i have premium.

if it hadn't been for the "legitimately skilled" thing i could point out a few non premiums since i saw many low rankers that have contributed but as i said they are low rankers.

Well, I would be hard pressed to give it to mhennigan without his prior approval, that's for sure. He may very well have a personal goal to be the first non-premium Conquerer. I would be willing to contact him about it though.

Keep throwing more names out, I need options. :)

mhennigan isn't a bad choice, but with so few actual games played, and practically no involvement with the forums, one would be hard-pressed to say he's made much of an impact save by the example set by his play.

I'd like to throw three other names out there:
hasaki- super skilled, helpful in the forums, he's been around forever... plus you should look at his active games. One of them is the second-oldest active game on the site...
ABSOLUTE_MASTER- AM hasn't been around as much recently, but she's top-notch at singles and teams, freestyle and sequential, speed and slow-play. She pokes her nose around the forums some... and, as one of the relatively few females on CC, t'would be nice to get her to stick around
Mepps- lethal singles player, ridiculously lethal doubles player, great guy, one of the smarter people I've met on this site, and he's a stone cold pimp 8)

Thank you for that post Incandenza, I'm looking for players like those you listed. Someone who embodies what it means to play here at CC. Not just someone who posts a lot.

yorkiepeter has successfully organised several tournies, he has mentored and taught a lot of players as well. He also was a co-fouder of the untouchables clan. usually makes positive contributions in forums especially in ideas and suggestions.

No worries, bro. It's damn cool that you're looking to hook someone up, and even better that you're soliciting the opinions of the community.

In my opinion, that would probably be a miracle if Optimus gave yorkie premium.

flying dust almost colonel and has only completed 95 games. Pretty skilled if you ask me
mhennigan first ever freemium brigadier
thai robert holds the current record for least games used to get to colonel (not counting gibbom who won a battle royal).
timmytuttut88 has gone from private to seargent first class in the last 2 months and is 4-14 in 8 player escalating games. Maybe the most deserving of all.

i agree but in terms of cont. to the site by freemiums i believe he deserves a mention.

I have made my final decision. I want to thank everyone for their well thought out posts and comments. After looking through them and doing some of my own research I decided upon who I thought was most deserving.

Thanks again everyone! I appreciate the help!

Optimus Prime . . . rolling out!

To be honest, yorkie would have been at the top of my list despite the recent events. I respect the work that he has done to a very high degree. However, I know he would have refused the gift for personal reasons and I would not want to encroach upon those.
