To many deadbeats for 24hr Seq game and they take to long!!!!

Speed SEq or Speed Free I don't care I prefer Speed Free they finish quicker. If I don't have time for Seq I stick with Free.

If you get two deadbeats in one 24 Seq game MAN THE WAIT!!!. I'll stick to speed from now on.

Both game has the same cheat tricks note

Some cheat tricks:

Freestlye
1. waits until 10sec to deploy.
2. Skiping turns for extra troops
3. Other player suciding your bouns (recoverable same turn)

Seq
1. Player take 5min to play.
2. Skiping turns for extra troops
3. Other player suciding your bouns (non-recoverable same turn)

The only difference from speed Freestlye and speed Seq is how much time a person wants to devote to CC.

Most people play speed during work time.

I like Sequential.

I often play from work... and at home I have 2 little kids. So it's easy to get interrupted, and not know when you'll have a chance to get back to the game. That's not an issue with Seq.

If/when I know I'll have some free-time.. I'll play a Freestyle Speed Game... but since it's not my norm, I get hurt by the tricks I'm not used to.

i hear that! my doubles partner has kids too, and we skype our turns and hear all the crazy house crap going on... there is nothing like your 3yr old hollering out, "DAD, WHIPE MY BUTT", in the middle of a killer turn, and your partner knowing exactly what you are going through. plus, i'm self employed, and if something work related comes in or a job, i have to tend to it right away or it could mean not getting a job. i don't have the luxury of a cubicle...-0

hmmm very interesting.
I am not sure where speed sits in all this.
I can see why people would think that 24hr freestyle favours those who sit in front of a computer all day. But after a while that is part of the strategy that you have to play. Remember i play from Europe and the vast majority of players play from the usa, it makes you think...I sometimes think of freestyle as an added element to sequential.

I have stated to play sequential now. Mainly with high level players and it reminds me more of chess than risk at this time. What I do agree with, is that the 2 games are very different. You really do have to think about when you can cash in relation to all the other players...I am enjoying learning to play this. Especially seeing as I feel that I have got the hang of 24 freestyle.

However as for speed freestyle esclating...i am not sure still. Poomaker definetly makes my top5, as does prank. Mhennigan and I, have not had the pleasure in speed games. Anyway its only a game and learning the tactics and strategy is the best bit...so bring it on....

seq, but i can see the advantages of freestyle. Being able to stop a "loon " throwing a game away is a big plus.

My connection is too slow to play freestyle though.
