Is a score reset really punishment ?

do you feel that a player starting over with 1,000 points is really a punishment? Personally I feel you can reach 2,000 points within 2 weeks again and by the end of the month your back over 3,000. We all know you get more points for a win when your ranked lower so now your collecting say 30-40 points per win instead of 5-10. Doesnt really take that much time to run the score up.

maybe if u play a thousand triples games a week, for most people tho what u have said is ridiculous.

atleast I actually play the games i set up and dont deadbeat them and blame it on an account babysitter after you post on the forum that your going to do it as an experiment.

personaly I think it was unfair punishment they did the maxium amount of punishment they could not only did I get blocked from playing some people but I also lost shit load of points that I gained fairly and lost premium so yeah theres really nothing more they could of done against me other then maybe banning me perminently in which case they would lose $20 dollars and lets face it this is a business, cheating actually brings in publicity and advertisement to the game, people will hear about it from friends and say hmm the game must be good if a person was willing to cheat... so in reality I did help the site not only with the future $20 that I will have to pay but with the publicity, if the site sucked no one would clearly care enough to cheat.... as far as me giving a dem or having shame your very wrong I dont give a dem about what you or what any one else thinks so yeah the theory about shame to be used as a punishment preaty much goes down the drain. I dont see people, I only see numbers for the taking. and like johny wrote I will have all my points back in 3-4 months so yeah dosen't matter to me... people come and go in CC and only a hand-full of people are remembered but you can bet that my will be one of them so either ways I win and I have all of you to thank for that.... its quite an accomplisment when you have over 15 threads created about you in less then a week and more views and replies in both of my threads in theCheating & Abuse Reports category then the announcements in the Cheating & Abuse Reports category it self lol.

I't was not about the points it was mainly to see the reaction of people when they did find out about it and I have to say that it was priceless.

trust me you can be banned really well and you will never make a new account. or at least each new account won't last more than a few days no matter how many ips you use no matter how many emails you choose, there are ways to ban you. trust me i know people that administrated online games and the tools they have would totally overwhelm your puny intellect.

I could easily create more accounts using library computers or other public computers so yeah that would do no good... and you do realise there are several ways to change your IP and to hide your IP by using a different ones?

I know people who play this game constantly with 2 accounts with the same IP and still haven't been banned, if they cant even ban 2 accounts with the same IP, I doubt they could stop me or any one who knows how to bi-pass there little tracking devices.

if there are cheaters around it's only a matter of time before they are caught

it's not just about ip's or mails there are more powerful tools.

i made a test. it was actually a bet on a case of beers with a GM from an online game. i had an account and it was forbidden for more persons to use the same account so we met on a saturday we drank some beer and i told him like this. "next week i will ask my wife to take care of my account but only on some days can you verify that is my wife?" he said yes and we put the bet on a case of beers (24). so the next week somehow i forgot to ask my wife to do that and the next saturday he asked me "what happened to the bet? your wife didn't login." i told him i forgot and scheduled for next week. my wife logged in 8 times in 3 separate days. then at the end of the week he mailed me i could be busted for letting her on my account. and he told me the exact times when she did it. i had to buy him 24 beers. so if they knew when my wife logged in despite the fact it was the same username and password and the same computer then it means they know when you create a new account no matter what ip you use. i don't know the tools they used cause he never told me and i never insisted to find out but trust me it's possible

lmao there is no way in hell they knew it was your wife or you if she logged in from the same computer with same IP same username same pw, its just not possible unless they are actually in the room with you or are watching you, not even the CIA have that kind of tools that know who is actually hacking the defence department. all they have to go by is a location that they pick up from the signal through satelites in space and the name of the owner of that location who is the most obvious suspect. and the only way they can do that is because they have the most advance technology available, a room full of computer experts and a satelite in space who can track any one. I doubt CC has anything close to that, all they have is a program used by most other online sites to track IP's who are only affective on banning the idiots who are dumb enough to make 2 accounts using the same IP and some times with the same Email...
