You didn't get to be conqueror, I can tell you that much
josko.ri wrote:Thanks everyone for congratulating to me, it is such a great honor to be on top place, although there are 3 players on break plus 2 banned, of which for at least 1 I think unfairly, who have more points than me, so I am just lucky to have high score on the right time when they are inactive. I waited until I gain the position again before thanking for the greetings.
As my characteristic which makes me different than other Conquerors, I would more highlight my 1v1 gaming, because 1519 of my 2814 (54%) finished games are 1v1 Sequential on wide variety of maps, the most on Feudal Epic (159). I somehow maintain to have positive point yield from 1v1 Sequential games with +237 at the moment. Another unique characteristic is that I have been active in Tournament section of CC from the beginning of my playing on the site, including continuous participating in 1v1 Sequential tournaments. Currently I am active in 5 CC Tournaments, excluding Clan tournaments. If I will have time, I am planning to host 1v1 Conqueror tournaments, with luck balanced rules and with (I hope) a lot of top CC players signing up, more about that TBA.
In my opinion, conquerors are (dis)respected not so much because of their skill, how much about their methods to come to top. The best example was GLG who was no doubt very skilled player (I can attest that by playing many team games with him) but was hated by community because of his non honorable methods. The method how Velvecarrots came to the top was the only reason why I did not congrats to him, because it was obvious that he came back just to not allow me to be Conqueror (his last log in was June 2012). There is no doubt about his skill, I was actually the one who ranked him on #1 place of the best skilled players that I played with excluding KORT players, anyone can check it here in the "Hardballs by Master Fenrir" interview: viewtopic.php?f=430&t=154004, but there was used unfair method to come back with only reason to take the title from me. I think number of congratulating posts to him (only 2 excluding TOFU members) shows that the community obviously shares my opinion about his method.

Actually he came back simply to earn the Conqueror title while he could. It has nothing to do with "not allowing you to be Conqueror" as you had already reached that rank. If he wanted to prevent you he would have returned a week earlier and he would have continued to play games. He came, he left, he earned the medal he deserved for years of top-rate play. It's not always about you and your self-promoted brilliance you know.
