i want someone to explain to me how COF's posts were more detrimental to the site than Blitz's cheating, the Hunter's cheating and the current point farming method being used by the sitting Conqueror. Just explain to me how what he said is worse than any ONE of those, and i'll shut up. you can't. period. this place is out of control and the admins have lost the trust of the active forum community.

There will be no real reply! He will ignore us and meek on supporting his minions (some of them) that do what they want and will continue to get away with it. They will brush this under the carpet as they continue to do with any real issues!

And a poll of them who the current conqueror is would probably produce maybe 50% would know or care.
So the poll would have to be for those that use the forum,
Ergo not a very large part of the CC world at all.

In that light of course Lack doesnt have to worry,because most of his customers dont visit the forums,
and the only worry they have then is if the site will still be here tomorrow.

Alot of clans, but very few dedicated clans supporting the forums.
Yes there are A few that most of their members are here daily. But even then in the overall numbers its still a small part of the CC world.

And I dont know about the rest of you but I havent encouraged my clan to back any of my personal opinions,views,likes or dislikes.

So in order for change to come about, a way has to be introduced that will bring the majority of CC players here to voice their opinions.

I'd like to hear this from him;

How often he reads the general discussion and the C&A forums?
What are his thoughts on the Blitz and Masi cheating methods?
Does he think farming is just a small problem, that isn't worth spending any time fixing?
If he could pluck any CC player out of their current job and employ them to work for CC as his second in command, who would he chose?

Have you thought of conducting a poll. First to find how many members are happy and how many are not.

Secondly what they are happy with or not?

I agree with jgordon here, the majority of people don't read the forums, and probably don't really care about how someone got to Conqueror. I figure the first time many people post on the forums is to file a C&A thread about game abuse. I personally wonder what % of paying members visit the forums vs what % of non paying members visit the forums. I mean, I'm sure visiting the forums used to be easier when there were fewer people, but really, I figure the number one thing most people would lobby lack about is "fixing" the dice. Probably outweighs any other concerns.

well , i am unhappy and to show how unhappy i am , i will no longer Pay to Play.. Its as simple as that. and my issue is simply the dice. The main component of this game is faulty , and until they address that with a realistic solution , i will no longer pay and eventually no longer play.

I agree with jgordon here, the majority of people don't read the forums, and probably don't really care about how someone got to Conqueror.

I do think, the majority of people read the forums, they just don't post in forums, and a topic "how to be the best in a game (not only on CC)" is always an interesting topic to read. Although they don't care in the end, but a story, how someone can be a conqueror, more or less will affect their judgment about CC.

Maybe this is not so important, but they will carry this story in RL, if they tell their friends about CC. Just compare these 2 stories about someone tells his friends about CC :

"You know that I play on CC. This is really a fun - maybe the best place to play risk online. But just forget to be the best there, because bla bla bla."

"You know that I play on CC. This is really a fun - maybe the best place to play risk online. And the best player in there, he is really good. Just seeing, how he plays, is interesting. This guy is a genius."

Anyway... just ignore what I wrote above. I'm just annoyed, when a suggestion is rejected simply because "most people do not care".

Geger, not by any means do I think any of us that posted here want to see a suggestion dropped. What I suggested was, We as a Community need to come up with a way to get the players to come to the forums, To take an interest in what going on here and be active.
One way might be all Forum active players add to their sig blocks something about the forums.

Something that will draw their attention here to see what is going on. But stay away from negative subjects,let them look and introduce themselves.
Then they may tell the people they play with about the forums on so on.

I am pretty sure most of you realize that it is the same group of people posting 99% of the time.

Alot of us here actively recruit for our clans, yet we shy away from recruiting for people to read the forums.
CC has the site out there for people to join and play,but doesn't mention hey read the forums for more interesting CC stuff on the registration page.

My bet is that:
1) MOST people don't care about most things complained about in Forum -- that a small minority post here
2) a LOT of people enjoy the site -- or they wouldn't be playing so many games, and paying $25 as mentioned above
3) CC malcontents are a relative MINORITY -- NOT the huge majority that they think they are*

*you get a couple of vocal malcontents, they convince their buddies that wrong has been done -- doesn't mean it has. Never has, never will.

And you are right about some of it GLG.

1. Most CC players probably dont come to the forums, But if they did then they might care.

2. Alot more people would probably play and PAY if some circumstances were changed.

3. Define your idea of what a CC malcontent is. Remember up until recent events I backed the other side of this, and still say the way you play is not against any rule.


*You get a couple of players who believe that some changes are needed. And show their friends that change is needed. Then it might really need to change.

I, and my user group brothers / sisters, do 99% of our posting in our PRIVATE forum, where we can visit as friends and real human beings - so many times a real attempt at a post here simply gets waylaid by the "malcontents", who seem to enjoy being jidiots. The balance of the forum (in the Locker) seems to be arguing ("discussing") religion, politics and usa bashing

Everyone has an opinion as is allowed to voice it.

What the goal to do here is find a middle ground on some issue's that many players see as a problem. On the other hand some dont see these issue's as a problem.
The push is to see if more players concur that there are problems and how to solve them, Or if everything is status quo no change needed.

Some of the issue's at hand

1. Fair across the board bans and punishments for all players

2. Other players not being punished for offense's evenly. Or at all.

3. Change of the Farming rules for new recruits. And add Ranching of other less capable player's as an offense. That way the community can grow.

4.Bringing more players into the forums to get involved in tournaments,callouts, SoC, and the other Ideas that go on in the CC world.

Most of the other stuff is each players personal opinion and can be gotten involved in or not depending on how strongly you feel about the topic.

5. More frequent updates about the status of suggs that were passed and waiting to be implemented. I'm sure lack does a lot of the behind the scenes stuff, but I'm sure it's frustrating to some of the posters to not know whether their sugg is being worked on or not.
