I remeber when the stats came, that many people where complaing about that....why because like that the people could see easily to see how many regions you are....so that people where complaining because that gaves an advantage to those who don't read the game log, so in other words they were trying to win hoping that the other player won't be reading the log (curiosly many of them where low-ranked but that's another thing) so they would have an advantage, many people replied to them (curiosly many of them where high-ranked) that if they just wins because the other player doesn't read the game log then that means that they weren't good players(weren't good players the people who complained)

Why all this story? Because it's the samething (with a variety of ranks now) If you play planning that the other team doesn't share his spoils, maybe you are not doing something right.

Let's put an example, if a team doesn't share his spoils, that means that they don't matter about that, so they are playing on their own. So seeing the team's spoils won't change anything to that type of players. They won't start thinking (oh he has a set, I have to tell him to attack there), because if that was the case then what they are actually thinking is (if my partner has a set he could do that, I should ask him if he has set, or directly tell to him if you have a set do this and that) but is not the case because then there would be more communication and everyone would share spoils and this topic would be non sense.

And one more thing. If you know what spoils they have it doesn't mean they will use this info to their advantage. You actually need to communicate the order of cashes and deploys to win the game.

You are all just a bunch of old conservative traditionalist buggers. Let new things happen!

When you play quads with escalating or even flat rate this info can be crucial to plan a large attack, and it's just annoying to look through all of the chat and compile which colour cards the other players has.

Of course it is a good thing to get some help to keep track of the teams spoils without having to do extra work all the time. Dako's feature makes this a lot more easy, but there are always someone who doesn't use all features, so I think it's good that the site helps to give out this info. A team that don't communicate will not stand a chance against one that does in the long run anyways - but that's up to every individual player to find out, not for the site managers to tell them.

First off at the part I bolded. Basically you say team spoils are key to know in large attacks at times, then yet you say better teams will come out on top. Well you just leveled out the playing field more now with giving away the spoils. Just think if your partners had not posted their spoils, you would have no idea if it was a good idea to kill or save one of them ans possibly cost you the whole game. Anyhow I am sure you see what I mean by this.

Thanx a lot for taking my quote out of context  Firstly by removing your quote which was the reason for my input: My reply was based on your comment that this new feature will make team players more lazy. So I merely wanted to point out that a helping hand to find the necessary info is welcome to anyone, but it's still up to every player to take advantage of that information. If there's one very good player and 3 newbies on a quad team, the team is still dependent on a lot of communication to come to the crucial point where the info can help them to win the game.

Second part: Highlighting 2 parts of my text that isn't supposed to be read together is a cheap and lousy trick. Just like this one:

no, youre absolutely right, it isnt the ONLY thing that gives me an advantage. But when all these scripts are introduced and over half of them are the ones us "pro's" have used to prove our game was better than others, then basically the secrets or war are being handed out freely.
Please dont misunderstand, I welcome more competition to the site. But when you have no more secrets in the "Art of War," then it really makes everything uniform. There used to be simple things that were so easily overlooked, it gave a big advantage to the opponent. Now the advantages are far and few between as the mistakes are limited more because of all the scripts.

BOB is an advantage. And I know that at least ... 50% of the site user do not use it (for some reason). Live with that advantage and one more - your brain. All other gadgets and stuff just make it easier, but they will not win the game for you.

jackal31 - my kind of adversary, good on ya! :D

Just to reiterate my own stance on this.....whilst I don't advocate the constant introduction of new scripts to make the decision process easier, I do believe the tools that are currently available to some should be made available to all. I might nag my team mates a little less as a result.

And it is certainly good that there are fewer advantages and less mistakes!
