So too are the cubes in their decisive glory. Their unbelievable streaks, breaking all perceived odds, simply add the element of unpredictable weather and other natural disasters to a game of War.
The mongolians smashed by two rare typhoons when guaranteed domination of Japan was imminent.
Snowstorms stopping the Germans In Russia so timely as to be god sent.
And countless others.
Post your examples of how real life battles mirror the seemingly unlikely streaks of cube rolls...and justify them defacto...once and for all proving that they are more realistic random, than if they acted along strict probabilities at all times.
Or dont, but if you need to feel better about losing 32 to 5, just think of the second Mongolian Armada getting wiped out the second time in a few years by a 100 year storm...and their frustration thinking wtf, and ffs...and then perhaps your disappointment will carry its deserved perspective. I doubt it....but its possible.
From now on when I complain about a roll however, Im going to blame it on the weather. Especially since, the damn cubes are stolen from the weather anyways.

Sadly I don't know all that much about the Winter War. Except that the Russians weren't properly prepared for the winter so their auto-assault crapped out epicly. Something like losing a 152v9 or something.
