Freestyle quibbles

Postby Risktaker17 on Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:33 pm

I am a strong advocate of freestyle. I believe it takes as much skill or more than sequential. But the sequential junky's only defense is that "Freestyle has cheap tricks". I will assure you there are none. But I would like an anti-freesyler to please present all their quibbles with freestyle.

P.S. THIS IS NOT FLAME WARS, I just want to know the quibbles of the anti-freestyle side

My first 600 games or so were alotta of seq I got tired of it ending on some1 doing some impossible chit..That is almost unrecoverable from...Or the games ending in a hanging..They both are good to play..I have played in some private seq high rank games..While they are certainly better and more of a challenge..Freestyle for me is better..It's almost impossible to not knowingly hang some1 and u always have a chance at recovering becuz of the fact every1 plays at once therefore making it harder for a person to isolate a kill without the potential of some1 taking it..Just like seq has it's tactics so does freestyle and waiting is one of them..I believe this is why freestyle gets a bad rep

No need to post it, I'll see the PMs.

To get this back on track... I think freestyle adds the component of TIME to the game, so if you're not willing to take that into consideration, then it's not the style for you! I think the people who don't like freestyle, don't like the feeling of being manipulated.
