Question regarding multiple login rule

Postby Darker_Parker on Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:39 pm

For those of you from the former MSN gaming zone riskII, hey guys, it's darker_parker1973.

I have a question regarding the multiple login rule...

My nephew, who lives here, would like to play. Im 35, he's 12. Im sure you all can tell us apart, but I wouldnt want to get myself banned by tripping some flag in a server. Since we are both on the same LAN, from a server's point of view, we could easily be mistaken for a multiple login.

Can we both have accounts here?

If this is problematic, we will understand. Statistics and the like arent important to me, he could say play on my account, time to time.

What should I do?

Cheers
Parker

Yes, you probably could both have an account. The 'Hunters' are pretty good at distinguishing between multiple accounts and relatives. Simply try to avoid having a sided mind in games, vs. other players, with each other. You should probably play team games or 1 vs. 1 to avoid arousing suspicion. ;)

Hope I helped. :)

Are you kidding me!? And give up the chance to pound on my sister's kid? Not a chance :D

Seriously though, I will tell him he can have an account, and I'll tell anyone who ever asks what his login is, so everyone knows it's above the board. If we ever are in the same game, nobody will ever accuse of us working together, we are very competitive. He's kinda cocky about his video games, so I love to smack him around, ESPECIALLY in an old school game like this one.

Thank you for the really fast reply. I look forward to many games with all of you :D

Regards,
Parker

Since you already posted it here.....it shouldn't be a problem but in cheating an abuse reports you could have just gave the hunters a heads up and telling your not multi's. But no need to bother now.

As long as it's obvious you're attacking each other and not helping each other, you should be fine.

Also you can set up private games and invite people who you play with that you know you woulsd not have a problem with you playing with and against each other.

Only if one or both of them pay for, or somehow acquire premium membership. ;)
