Of course in Freestyle waiting is expected; after all the main cool feature of Freestyle is that you get to plan your moves and decide when you go.
So I assume this question is on Sequential (and or Freestyle when everyone already made their moves but there's still loads of hours on the clock)
I don't get what Yeti said though: What would be the points benefit to having losses take place together (or in quick succession) ? Or suppose you have two games that are about to conclude, one you think you're going to win and one you're sure you're going to lose. Now does it matter in which order this happens? Suppose the loss would mean minus around 20 points. Suppose the Win would mean around + 80 points.
Now if I do the win first, then the loss will count heavier. But if I lose first then the subsequent win will add a bit more points, though usually not an incredible difference.. Like from 80 to 83 or whatever.
Anyway I can see about as many reasons to SPEED UP a loss rather than delay it. Should even out I should say.
