Any experienced players who've got some time to spare, are patient and willing to help; could you please lend a hand in the CC Mentor Program?
There are way more mentees then mentors, and quite a few who who have posted there saying they'd be mentors have went M.I.A. since.
So far, all my experiences with mentoring have been quite enjoyable and I've even learned a few things myself. By volunteering a small bit of your time to help a new player, your not just making his experience here better, you are also making everyone's gaming better by helping to improve the quality of the games that take place by showing what is acceptable during the game.
And please, if your reading this and have volunteered to be a mentor, go back to the thread and find someone to help. This program is useless unless we have people that are willing to do more then just make a post.
To any new players reading this, don't be scared to contact via pm anyone who's posted there offering their services. They made the post because they are willing to help you but chances are they won't come to you; you'll have to go to them.
Every person who is mentored will go on to become a valuable asset to our community and hopefully pass their knowledge on one day to improve another's game.
