Search for the thread "Greatest game I've ever played" by me.

I was down to one man on one country, and that was only due to some huge trickery on my part. We went back and forth almost eliminating each other several times with big cash ins, and I ended up winning the game. 8)

I've gone from deploying 3 armies on one country for 50 or 60 turns to win the game.

I've also seen one guy go from 1 army on one country to holding 2 bonus areas 3 or 4 rounds later. With flat cards, not escalating. He didn't win, but it was close.

i know a comeback of mine.

in an esc game. I had 2 armies and 3 cards. no set.

i saw another player could go for a kill for my next door neighbour. he had 10-15 armies next to me and 3 cards.

so i waited until he had killed him down to a 2 and then quickly deployd and took his cards and won the game...

and he was my block so that is why he didnt go for me first

Nice move Juve!

And sorry orion, I should have said "best game" not greatest. http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... ive+played

However coming back to win a no cards game when you're down to two single men is even better. People need to learn to take out the very weak in flat rate and no cards! If you give em a chance, they'll bite back.

no cards 6 player game on AoM. i was down to 2 terit with 3 armies on on and 1 on another. i kept deploying for some turns then slowly started taking a terit at a time. i was too small for others to bother and yet too big to be taken out. after 85 rounds (2 months) i won.

when the game started i had 1200 points when it ended i had 2300

game 640362

i'm also sure i had a big comeback in an escalating game but i don't remember the game #

edit// here is the escalating game. 844664 i was down to 1 army and 1 terit. in round 11. in round 12 i won the game
but escalating comebacks are very common or at least more common than the no cards ones thus i'm more proud of the first example

I've won two games coming back from one country/one army. Too many to search though so I can't point you to them.

Both escalating games, of course.

In escalating this outcome is fairly common. Elimination tries often end just short and if the survivor happens to play next and has a cash, they can easily win.

I would be much more impressed by coming back from this on a no cards game . . . except maybe on doodle earth
