Trick: Creating Multiple Games Quickly

Postby moo_lol on Tue Sep 11, 2007 3:15 am

If you want to create more than one game, and you want to do it quickly, try this:

1) go to the Start A Game page
2) select the options you want
3) click "Create"
4) QUICKLY, before your web browser starts to load the next page, click "Stop" on your web browser's toolbar. The information will have been sent, but you will remain on the Start A Game page
5) select the options you want for your next game, and go back to 3)

If you want to create many games with the same options, you can click "Create", "Stop", "Create", "Stop", "Create", "Stop", etc. over and over very quickly, creating a game each time.

Enjoy,
Moo

Hmmm - I'm not sure that Lack would appreciate this - and if you're not careful he might impose a "you've created a game in the last minute" message - a la spam posting...

Actually if you just keep clicking on the create button, it'll create a bunch of the same settings all at once. No need to click stop. I found that out by accident when I mistakenly double-clicked and ended up with two games last night. Turns out I only needed one to kick Scoot's ass.

So I buy premium and now I can play as many games as I want. However there is a limit on how fast I can create them? That doesn't make sense.

I usually just open up like 10-15 browsers at the same time. This might actually save some time though. Nice find!

That's what it sounds like. He said lack might impose a "you've created a game in the last minute" missage. I was just saying I don't think he'd do that. Why would there need to be a limit like that for creating games? I can't imagine it would put that much of a strain on the servers.

And considering you can only have 50 games open at one time, it doesn't matter how quickly you open them.

It matters if you want to create 50 games but don't want to take a long time doing it.

I meant that lack wouldn't need to limit the ability to create them quickly, since the max is already capped at 50.

Or...

If you are using Firefox center click create.

Then change whatever settings you want for a different game.

I think the most games I've created was 5 at one time. I also keep my active/waiting down around 20 at most.

This is all so confusing to me. #-o
In years gone by, men gave their lives.
To preserve the truth and stand for right.
But the blood that they shed was not in vain.
For the price they paid, was freedom gain.
