Live Chat and 'noflood'!

Out if curiosity. im just wondering if anyone knows the exact criteria for, and effect of the anti-spam (or anti-flood i guess) device called noflood, which aims to protect live chat from flooding.

Some of us were experimenting eariler and couldnt really see what was triggering it and what wasnt. Any help appreciated.

I was playing with it just now (in a seperate room of course)....i dont think its the amount of messages, cause i sent 100 in the period of a minute and it didnt care....But then i tried doing it as fast as i could, and it kicked me out within a couple of seconds.
