Is there nothing that can be done?

...gah...people who play freestyle and wait for the last 5 mins of a round to take their turn. Is there no fair way around this? Instead of leaving the 1 team open to take their turn for the full 24 hours of the round, can it possibly be lowered a bit to give the other team a chance?

........irritating.....

I'm guessing you lost out in a recent freestyle game. All i can sugest is you stick to sequential. In my experience, you can usualy use freestyle to your advantage as many times as it get used against you.

Honestly I don't think swearing off the whole game style is the answer. There has to be a better way as, in my opinion, this is too big an exploit to just let it go.

Freestyle has many exploits but its the way it is, at the moment anyway. If you think your idea has potential you could start a thread in the bugs and suggestions forum. Personally, i can't see it getting anywhere though man.

I thought I remember Lack mentioned something about changes being made to help eliminate the Defacto Double-Turn. Maybe I was just dreaming though.

It's still being discussed.... after the next update probably. The 12-hour solution wouldn't work, so we're trying to come up with something that will.

It's freestyle, so plan your moves better. All of the quirks of the format are available to every player in the game. IMHO the exploits are all part of the freestyle game and do not require any alterations. Take Rocketry's suggestion to heart and avoid playing freestyle games.
