disappearing games ... ?

Over the last few weeks I set up 16 games - all passworded.
In the meantime I have run my active games down to 3.
Yesterday I sent out PMs to a group of players inviting them to join as many or few of the games as they wanted to.
At that point of course I had 16 games on my "awaiting players" tab in "my games".

Suddenly many of the new games are missing ... I now only have 5 games awaiting players and 3 active games.

I am completely confused ... where have the other games gone?

Private games are deleted after 15 days, if the game has not started. If you created the games more then 15 days ago, they probably got deleted. If you didnt, I have no clue.

If you ever click on Private Games in join a game, you will find out that Bad Speler is right.

Thanks Bad Speler. That explains it. I didn't know about the time limit and so it was just coincidence I guess that the games disappeared just as I sent out my invitations.

Is the time limit mentioned anywhere else on the main site; in the Instructions or wherever?
