Are you sure? What if you were in a 6-player escalating game, where you and four other players have 5 cards each? (It's irrelevant what the last player has.)
You begin your eliminatin' rampage:
5 - start
2 - cash 1 set (-3)
7 - eliminate doofus no 1 (+5)
1 - cash 2 sets (-6)
6 - eliminate doofus no 2 (+5)
3 - cash 1 set (-3)
8 - eliminate doofus no 3 (+5)
2 - cash 2 sets (-6)
7 - eliminate doofus no 4 (+5)
1 - cash 2 sets (-6)
You can't cash any more, so it doesn't matter how many doofus no 5 has.
Unless I've buggered up somewhere, that's 8 sets cashed in one turn.
That was probably a very laborious way of doing it, but I enjoy eliminatin' people so much, that I like even writing about it. I'm not saying the thrill is actually sexual, or anything, though.
