Feedback

Postby RRSGenl on Wed Aug 08, 2007 12:57 pm

I was reading some of the feedback.
Some negative feedback was because someone did the unexpected, or made a surprise move where thay go after someone who is not in the lead, or disreguarded a comment by another player. I thought I object was to try to win and if surprising another player to eliminate them, why should that be cause for negative feedback.

I'm new to this club and have only been involved for 1 week.

Hi RRS! And again, welcome. 8)

People really get into the game here and often have very different playing styles and opinions on how the games should be played. The result is many silly or stupid feedbacks left for emotionally-charged reasons. Remember feedback is just one person's opinion of you and your gameplay. It's up to you to make up your own mind about a player, and the best way to do that is to play them yourself.

Always nice to see new people. Just remember that when someone leaves you a neg. feedback - for whatever reason - you should leave them a feedback in return (if you don't have a reason, just make up one). :D

Thanks alster for advising the newbie on how to get a feedback ban. Knew we could count on you.

I would guess no since people may not like alliances. And not liking those is a personal opinion.

However, if the feedback explicitly states that you "cheated" I guess then you could at least ask for a removal since that would be a factually wrong statement.

But that's just my two cents after having run head first into the mod-wall a few times...

Feedback is left about how you play (or don't play), so yes admonishing "legal" things like alliances is allowed in feedbacks.
