Postby chessplaya on Sun Aug 05, 2007 7:24 am

yup the subject says it all... i have never seen so much players over 2000 .... it used to be around the first 200 players over 2000 in less then a month we have 74 more players 2000.... kind of got me thinking a month later would the top 500 players be over 2000

No, it used to be that there were only 5-10 above 2000. At least when I joined :P

Of course, in the beginning, it used to be that no one was above 2000. I know.

Out of the currently 20,000 some active on the scoreboard, only a very small percentage is above 2000 points. :)

I know that, but why don't they delete the inactives that haven't played for, erm, let's say 6 months?

because although rare, they might come back. They have nothing to lose by keeping them.
