I would almost leave negative feedback for not aligning against the super powerful player, when I seek to make that move my goal is to level the playing field, not anihilate the guy

I didnt state anything against the other players just stated the strategy they use. If they are proud and find nothing wrong with this form of play. Then why are they embarrassed about the feedback.
I spent 2 1/2 playing a RT game i couldn't win. Not becuase of my skills but because of this crap. Real players need not Allign. They see the board and make moves according taking a Risk sometimes on whether their fellow players are aware of their situation. To Allign in such a way means their is no or at least limited risk.
It not only ruins good games. It cripples the players useing it. I have been in many games were i was all but counted out. Came back and won through strategy. When players use alliances they will never get to that level of play. Not to mention truly good players will become discouraged and leave this site.
My motivations arent to insult or penalize rocketry. They are simply to inform and warn future players of his tendencies. Once again if he is proud of his techniuqe then what is wrong with telling the world. I suspect he has already run into trouble with getting people to join games.
In response to his plea, I offered rocket a deal. If he refrains from useing alliances for the next 20 games i'll remove the feedback. He declined. So i guess he choses to continue to use alliances.

SO STAND TALL ROCKET AND ACCEPT YOUR DECISION. IF YOU TRULY FEEL THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING THEN THE FEEDBACK WONT MATTER AND SHOULDN'T BOTHER YOU IN THE LEAST.

IF YOU CANT WIN BY YOURSELF THEN "YOU" NEVER WIN!!!!!

man alliances are god things. There is no need to leave negative feedback for them. Im not embarassed about the feedback - but its a neg for no reason so a brought it up with you.

You cant expect me to change my tactics for 20 games for no reason? You lost becuase you could not accept the alliance. A good player would have holed up for a bit, conserved troops and when the alliance broke down, played again. if you are as good as you say your are you would have won still.

I don't like alliances but this is right off the homepage:

Risk all your armies on a daring continent grab. Use diplomacy to coordinate a group assault on the game leader. Feel the thrill of victory as you eliminate your last opponent.

So I think the feedback is unwarranted.

It just requires a little bit of intelligence. Good players (and even average players i.e. me) know when to attack and when not to attack someone. They shouldn't need to be told. Therefore, an alliance in a 3-player game like this is really just a written statement of the fact that both players are going after the leader, like any sensible player should do in this situation.

I still stand by my earlier remark that you should cheat with multis. Another helpful way is to coordinate all alliances via private messaging which is almost impossible to prove.

Ultimately you should combine both strategies.
1. make countless multis and join his games
2. make all alliances over PM

This way any player that happens to not be a multi in your game can also help in the destruction of this person. The rules are pretty ambivalent so I have no idea if anything I said is not allowed but I am pretty sure it is OK.
