on the europe map, does the red arrow mean that moldova can attack romania, but romania cant attack moldova? and some other questions about the map... do the brown areas mean an attack cant be made ? example on the northern border of italy.

Yes to both of those questions. The arrow means a one way attack and the brown is mountains (impassable border).

thanks, that info will help a lot in games so i dont have to fortify those borders and look like an idiot
