You won't get extremely far with that system though (at least its never been done).
6 player singles games are a great way to shoot up fast when you're starting out. Many CC noobs may be quite good at the game from experience with the actual board game.....so when they start playing actual noobs of the same point level they can win a ton. Unfortunately once you get to 1800-2000 points your returns for playing poor opponents become very little and you have to move into the big league....then it becomes much harder to progress.
And freestyle is simply not a high ranking option. I personally enjoy them but hardly anyone will ever play....and if you enter freestyle games where everyone is 1000 points less than you, you probably won't end up in a great spot.
