Something's gotta change.

Postby ParadiceCity9 on Mon Jul 16, 2007 1:25 am

I just took a guy out in a terminator game and received ZERO points for it. The guy happens to be a professional deadbeat and had 14 points. Along with taking him out...i used up all my armies doing it so i was eliminated before i could take another turn. There's gotta be some solution to this madness!

Add him to your ignore list and in the future check how many points a cook has before you take him/her out in terminator.
I have an IQ of 195. Of course my answers are different!

I'm sorry, but:
2007-07-16 12:49:56 - ParadiceCity9 eliminated pyro55 from the game
2007-07-16 12:49:56 - pyro55 loses 0 points
2007-07-16 12:49:56 - ParadiceCity9 gains 0 points

You don't find that even a tiny bit funny?

you think that's bad. I'm in a game with him where he deadbeated and his partner inherited all his territories and because of bad placement and bad dice we're probably going to lose..

that sucks.

so basicly you would have lost if he had played on as well?
Dunno, but deadbeating does not seem to be all that adventagious to me. ofcourse your partner could have deadbeated as well and give you that strategic advantage.. or something

Just kind of sparked an idea.

You know how max points from one person is 100 in a game?
Well maybe there should be a minimum points from one person.

yah..a minimum of one.

This all begs another question: why does someone with zero points continue to play?

If you never win and have run your initial thousand points down to zero, what is it that keeps you playing?

A masochistic streak?

Well i agrea :) You gotta change mate!

Either a) dont play people like that or
b) dont go for the kill when you know you will only get a few points from a deadbeat playter while knowing someone else will kill you the next turn ;)
