slowing the server? [Answered]

i just need to know something

as once wicked said that the bigger the space for the pms the slower the server for the games is. hence they give us a little space for pms...thats not my question nor my complaint so here it goes :

does too many threads and posts slow the server down ???

if so do U mods from time to time do some deletion to some old threads?

I think post and topics do little in terms of space on the server, but if you think about it, if you increase your inbox by just a little, everyone on conquer club (over 100000 people) inboxs will increase.

Only a small minority of these 100000 people post, so in comparison, posting is very little space to inboxs

so overall

posting --> few people do it --> little input to server
inbox --> everyone has one --> increase space --> everyones increases

hmmmmm , yes appreciate it , but do they delete some old psots randomly?

Not sure, I don't think so, because I occassionally look at some old posts to remember good days and they are still there! lol

this is why i implemented "random deletion" cuz sometimes i see my post count goes down by 6-10

No we don't delete old threads, except for callouts in the callouts section.
