Best way to pick games?

Postby Mr.T on Fri Jul 14, 2006 6:32 pm

I was lucky enough to have my second game finish 12 turns in 4 hours, but My first game is still on turn one and it started 12 hours ago. What tend to be the quicker games?

Thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses.

The quickest game you can join is the real time game. you can find these in the callout forum.
The next quickest would probably be escalating cards.
The longest games are flat-rate and no card games.

Thanks again AK. Where do I find descriptions of all the different game parameters? I looked around and couldn't find them.

the speed of games also depends on the people you are playing with. If everyone is around and taking their turns often the games will of course go rather quickly. If people are missing their turns or deadbeating (missing three consecutive turns) each round could take days. In sequential games this is especially a problem because each persons turn could last 24 hours instead of each round taking 24 hours.

Thankyou, I am not quite sure how I missed that. Your kindness is noted and will be taken into consideration when I am destoying your armies.

Also if people you play with are strategic morons who can get in touch with thier japanse side to get you and himself in a death position the game go alot faster

btw you will take the kindness into consideration while destroying armies does that mean you pity the fool?(couldnt resist it someone has to do these crappy jokes may as wel be me :P)

Be prepared for Mt. T jokes...
