Tiebreakers in Auto Tournaments

Just a quick question i can't find anywhere...So, i'm in an auto-tournament called No Spoils currently running. I am tied with like 10 people with 1 point and on the bubble of moving on to round 2 or being eliminated. How are people ranked when they have the same number of points? Right now, i'm in 24th place, but someone i'm tied with is say, in 15 place. I had this happen to me in the Doodle Earth tournament where i was tied with the 3rd and 4th place people going into the last 4, but was the odd man out for some reason. What determines someone being in 15th place as opposed to 24th place, with the same score?
