I am sorry for the confusion!

I don't remember what I started the auto assault attack with but I did kill 26 troops while losing 2. I am guessing there I started with around 10 so I had 8 troops left.

I then lost an attack where I started with 16 and my opponent had 6. I did not use auto assault. Not sure where I ended but I think it was me with 2 and him with 3. I may have even rolled down to nothing there or attacked 2-2....I was quite angry at the time.

And yes the game was trench and the 16-6 was quite an important attack.

wrong..it was an auto-assault :)

Please learn to read, you are wrong. I don't even know why so many people are arguing over this..

Because it is funny...and fun at the same time.

Other than my typo (24) I was dead on!

Now If you wish for me to explain to you, how I came to the understanding that it was a trench game.

P.S. How do you get; (Quote:he made a row of attacks.)
From Auto assault?

My memory is not what it used to be....it was actually a more unlikely attack to beat the 26 and a worse beat down on the 16 versus 6 attack. I just recalled that i posted about it in my clan forum when it was more fresh in my head. just went back and found it so i could copy and paste what i posted there....here it is (a sneak peak into the TOFU forum)

"Anyway, I mentioned I thought dice getting you down was all perspective. For example, a couple of weeks ago in a poly game on Kings court 2 against the map maker I had 2 extremes on 1 turn. I started off by attacking a stack of 26 with a stack of 4. I hit auto assault (for some reason I think I get better attacks with it) and I was shocked to see I won the attack 26-0. I laughed about it for a second and then took a look at my second attack, 16-6. I hit auto assault again and ended 3 with me having 3 and him having 5. At that point, I nearly had a meltdown and was ready to break something. 15 seconds previous to this I had only laughed about going 26-0 on an improbable attack. It is not often I acknowledge or even think about awesome dice, but the bad ones can really piss me off."

Just on how your description of your Auto assault, defeating 26 units.
Nobody would expect an assault using 4 units verses 26...much less, coming out a winner.
If you just Auto assaulted and killed 26 units your next assault would most likely be using that same Army to do another immediate auto assault (specially against the 6 units). by not using auto assault on your next attack ...Telling me that the 16v6 was an entirely different battle in a entirely different region of the board.

Your 16v6 attack gave indication that you moved elsewhere for a different attack, after having completed the army of the first attack (the one that defeated the 26)
Most auto assaults are done with one army at a time until they are done with their move. You indicated that your Army (the one used for the defeat of the 26) had ended its assault (auto assault) thereby ending its move. losing only two units, most players would continue exploiting that same army...having so many units survive a battle unexpectedly.

Auto assault+making a 16v6 five seconds later...Most likely reason for you looking elsewhere and no follow up with the Lucky army would be Trench...forcing your lucky army to halt any further exploitation.

Well done. I did pretty much give away the game with my copy/paste since I mentioned it was against the map maker though. To bad I lost the game.
