It`s like for the past few months we were tracking everyone`s scores with a running scoreboard. You could have stumbled across that part of the site and wondered why we didn`t tell anyone about it.

The main difference is that the running scoreboard was just recently announced, but the challenge medal was announced a while ago. bigWham has been trying to churn through all submitted suggestions as fast as possible. In this case, he implemented the letter, but not the spirit. Soon we will have the spirit implemented too.

One final unofficial monthly challenge: simmer down everyone.

If you go on the medals page, it says "medal not issued". The medals page would be like the "menu", and the "menu" seems pretty clear about the fact that you can't "order" that at the moment. Dragging the food analogy out further. Raw food unless it is sushi or steak tartar is only for freaks or those that hate their taste buds. It was I suspect in a moment of self hate and deep loathing that BW implemented an unworkshopped idea. Officially bored with those that won't admit this was done wrong.
