29/42 active clan challenge threads are locked. Why?

Hi folks,
Hoping someone could give me an explanation why most clan war threads are locked. I went to edit this thread http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=441&t=196585 found it was locked. With no explanation. Nothing in announcements. No message from CD's on this. Using my poor counting skills found that 29out of the 42 clan war threads in active challenges are locked. Is this a new roll out? Has a CD gone rogue? Mods have gone rogue in the past..... Though the current crop of CD's appear level headed. What gives.

So thread is locked because it qualifies for database? Why lock it though. ATL vs FaD is not due for another set for a few weeks. I wanted to update player usage. Couldn't. Maybe there is some powerful technological reason, that the thread must be locked. To implement the update properly?

A bit more explanation would be super. Also a general shout out to OP's of active clan war threads.

This is correct. The active wars took me about 5 hours to input...so if people don't follow the new protocol, games will get missed and clans will miss out on, what I think, is going to be a pretty slamming update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

...or, I have just gone insane and locking 30 threads excited me...

This is correct. The active wars took me about 5 hours to input...so if people don't follow the new protocol, games will get missed and clans will miss out on, what I think, is going to be a pretty slamming update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Talking about yourself? Musing on your sanity or lack there of? Not insane as such, seems like typical behaviour of a CC addict.
