Ads?

Hi everyone.

Am I the only person who is getting ads for Angry Birds, Cougar Life, Zoosk and others when I play cc. One of my favorite parts of the site was the lack of ads. As a member since shortly after the CC big bang, I am disappointed if the site has gone this way.

The ads are only for freemium members

Buying membership removes the ads

It just helps a little with the cost of maintaining and running the site

Specifically, the ads are now covering all of our server/bandwidth fees with a little left over! We made it a point to try and filter out the bad flash ads (1 millionth visitor, etc) so that we can lift the burden a tad.

To not keep the members who can't drop 25 USD on premium on ads, you can also buy a Conquer Cup entry for 7 USD that also comes with 3 months of premium, with more payment options in the near future to come. =)
