I hear quick-marching jackboots plot across my keys.
Great generals machinate at their table of war. Shifting weary soldiers with the flourish of a hand; realities trudge will be long and harsh to the battlefield of my mind.
The distant crack and rumble of cannon-fire romances each soldier to their demise. Only reflection flashes glory, and only victory tells its story.
Or is this just me?

I'm a student of history and have read first-hand accounts of the most terrible battles, and this seeps into all of my strategies and tactics (perhaps to the detriment of my play!)
Thanks for the post. Make me think
